Dental Implants (Individual teeth and full arch solutions)

Greenwood Dental Arts offers customized treatment plans for our patients who need single-tooth implants, full-jaw dental implant solutions, and implant-supported options for removable and non-removable dental implants designed to replace traditional dentures. After reviewing our patients’ needs, we will provide custom treatment options and use state-of-the-art technology to restore our patients’ smiles to their full brilliance.

Benefits of Dental Implants

When needed, dental implants are a great restorative option that can mimic natural teeth. They can be implemented for single-tooth replacements or full sets of teeth for one or both jaws. Made of titanium and ceramics, they are placed into the bone of the jaw, replacing the root portion of the tooth. They have a 98% success rate, making them a very favorable and long-term treatment option for patients.

Associated with Dental Implants:

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Composite resins, also called tooth-colored fillings, are a durable substance made of a composite resin material (a mixture of tiny glass-like particles) that allows the filling to chemically bond to your tooth. Tooth-colored fillings are matched to your natural tooth color to blend in with your natural teeth and provide a seamless-looking restoration. The tooth-colored composite material can also be applied to your front teeth as an alternative to veneers to improve esthetics and give you a beautiful smile.

Dental Crowns

Crowns are tooth-shaped caps that fit over an existing tooth. Crowns have a variety of functions. They can help strengthen a fractured or structurally damaged tooth, restore an area of decay, or improve biting function and appearance. Crowns can be made from different materials, including porcelain. At our office, a porcelain crown can often be designed and created in one day and replaced in a single appointment, without the need for a temporary crown and multiple appointments!

Dental Bridges

A dental bridge is a cemented prosthesis used to replace a single missing tooth or multiple missing teeth. It consists of at least two crowns that are attached with suspended teeth in place of the missing teeth. Our dentists may recommend a bridge to improve your ability to eat and speak as well as give you back a healthy smile.

Denture Alternatives

There are implant-supported alternatives that replace traditional dentures. These alternatives eliminate the slipping and discomfort than conventional dentures can cause. There are several options available for removable and non-removable implant-supported dentures for scenarios where multiple teeth are affected or missing in one or both jaws. After an examination, we will determine if you are a candidate for this type of procedure.
