With decades of combined experience, Drs. Alconcel, Johnson, and Fischer have inspired the confidence and admiration of their peers and patients nationally and in their home state of Colorado. In addition to being named a Top Dentist by 5280 Magazine, Dr. Alconcel also contributes to the community by providing dental care to seniors in long-term care facilities.

Dr. Johnson has been named Top Dentist by 5280 Magazine since 2018. Dr. Fischer has been named one of the Best Dentists of America along with being recognized as one of the Top 5280 Dentists continually since the magazine’s inception in 2004. Lissa Alconcel, DDS, at Greenwood Dental Arts in Greenwood Village, CO

Lissa Alconcel, DDS 

Dr. Lissa Alconcel provides patients with comprehensive dental care so they can enjoy continued well-being. She believes personalized care allows for comfortable and individualized dental treatment plans. 

Dr. Alconcel is a proud Colorado native who attended Colorado State University for a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s degree in toxicology. She graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine where she was the president of the American Association of Women Dentists as well as the national representative of the Christian Medical and Dental Association®. Dr. Alconcel’s commitment to education includes staying up to date on recent advancements in dentistry and being a member of multiple study organizations. 

At Colorado State University, Dr. Alconcel competed as an NCAA Division I swimmer for the CSU Rams. After graduation, she continued to train as a triathlete and has competed in three Ironman Triathlons. In addition, she is a certified emergency medical technician (EMT) and works part-time providing dental care to seniors in long-term care facilities. Dr. Alconcel and her husband, Brandon, have three children, Owen, Brooke, and Ryan, a boxer/lab mix named Izzy and a Boston terrier named Kali. They enjoy Colorado outdoors, CSU football games, swimming, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

      Katherine Johnson, DDS, at Greenwood Dental Arts in Greenwood Village, CO

      Katherine Johnson, DDS 

      Dr. Johnson is proud to be a Colorado native. She received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Denver and has a DDS degree from the University of Southern California. Her dental education continued with an additional year of training at the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Idaho State University. 

      Dr. Johnson believes continuing education is an important aspect of providing the best dental care. Active in many different study clubs and organizations, she has focused on learning about treatments for jaw pain, airway-related problems, and implant restorations. Dr. Johnson creates trust with patients while delivering a pain-free and relaxing dental experience. She works with patients to create the best treatment plan to achieve optimal results. 

      In her free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with her two dogs, trying new restaurants, hiking, reading, and traveling.

            Charles Fischer, DDS, at Greenwood Dental Arts in Greenwood Village, CO

            Charles Fischer, DDS 

            Dr. Charles Fischer is a Colorado native. He graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry and has enjoyed practicing as a leader in his field for over 40 years. Involved with several local, state, national, and honorary dental organizations, he has served in the areas of peer review, program development, and postdoctoral education. Dr. Fischer attends numerous postgraduate courses throughout the year. He has taught throughout the U.S., Canada, and England. His profession recognizes him as an authority on restorative dentistry and occlusion. He has been selected in the Best Dentists of America and Top 5280 Dentists in Restorative Dentistry continually since its inception in 2004. 

            Dr. Fischer enjoys traveling with his wife, Lynn, and spending time with his family and three grandchildren. In his free time, Dr. Fischer enjoys videography, photography, golf, and competitive masters swimming. He has competed in many national competitions and in the World Masters Championships, where he placed in the top five for his age group in several events. “My rewards in both my professional and personal life come from the quality of the relationships I have with my family, my friends, my work colleagues, and the patients I have the opportunity and honor to serve.”

            Cynthia, RDH 

            Cynthia is originally from Oklahoma, but relocated to Denver in late 1999. Having grown up in the dental field with her father as a dentist, it was natural for her to purse dental hygiene. She loves being a dental hygienist as it allows her to help coach patients about their dental health while also forming close bonds with so many patients who have been coming to see her for many years.

            When she is not in the office, Cynthia can be found doing almost all things Colorado. She loves hiking, biking, backpacking, soccer, and skiing. She spends most of her time doing these activities with her three children and her dog Nala.

            Dana, RDH 

            Dana is a Kansas City, MO native but has called Colorado home since 2022. She graduated from the University of Missouri Dental Hygiene School in 2000 with a BS in dental hygiene and has worked as a clinical dental hygienist and a dental hygiene instructor in her career.

            Dana most enjoys the relationships she develops with her patients. She enjoys working with each patient to create their perfect dental experience. She looks forward to getting to know each patient and have the opportunity o treat them like family. She feels honored to be trusted with partnering in their healthcare and enjoys sharing her knowledge to assist them in attaining their goals.

            When she’s not in the office she enjoys trail running, snowshoeing, scuba diving, paddle boarding, traveling, knitting, spa days, wine tasting, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.

            Monique, RDH, OMT, at Greenwood Dental Arts in Greenwood Village, CO

            Monique, RDH, OMT 

            Monique is a Colorado native and has been in dentistry for over 16 years. She started off as a dental assistant in general dentistry and has also worked in pediatrics. She then chose to continue her education and became a registered dental hygienist. Continuing education is one of Monique’s passions as she is constantly striving to learn even more about how she can best help our patients. Her most recent achievement is that she has also become a certified Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist.

            Monique is a mom of three and married to a teach and swim coach. She and her family love their three dogs and the outdoors, spending a lot of their time in the mountains skiing or hiking when there isn’t a swim meet!

            Shannon, Lead Dental Assistant at Greenwood Dental Arts in Greenwood Village, CO

            Shannon, Lead Dental Assistant 

            Shannon started in the dental field as an assistant in 2004. She has a great deal of passion for her career, and her “why” is that she loves of helping people find full health. This is through their dental

            care and the trust that is built between her, the team, and our patients, as well as watching people’s confidence be restored through dentistry.

            She loves hiking, traveling, trying new foods and restaurants, watching and reading crime stories, and spending time with her daughter and her dog.
